ljb6.tech

Personal site of Lucca Jaroszeski Becker, laid out like an arXiv / LaTeX paper. Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS, statically exported. The page ships as plain HTML/CSS; it works without JavaScript.

Run locally

Requires Node 20+ and pnpm.

pnpm install
pnpm dev # http://localhost:3000
pnpm build # static export into out/
pnpm start # serve out/ locally to check the production build
pnpm lint # type-check

Editing

What Where
All homepage copy (title block, abstract, sections, skills table, references, footer) src/content.ts
Long-form posts content/writing/<slug>.mdx → /writing/<slug> (see content/writing/README.md)
Typography, colors, print styles src/app/globals.css
OG image / favicon src/app/opengraph-image.tsx, src/app/icon.svg

Inline markup in content.ts: **bold**, *italic*, [3] (citation to reference 3), {fn:1} (footnote marker), {link:label|https://url}. Sections are numbered by their order in the sections array. Remember to bump site.lastUpdated.

Printing the page (Cmd+P) gives a clean A4 document, with link URLs shown inline.

Deploy to Vercel

  1. Push this repo to GitHub.
  2. On vercel.com: Add New → Project, import the repo. The Next.js preset is detected; keep the defaults (build command next build, output handled automatically).
  3. Project → Settings → Domains: add ljb6.tech and follow the DNS instructions (an A record for the apex domain, or Vercel nameservers).

Every push to main deploys to production; other branches get preview URLs.
